Fill the collection tube with saliva up to the red line (the saliva should not contain bubbles).
Open the swab carefully making sure not to touch or contaminate the swab tip. Insert the swab inside one nostril and gently twist the swab for 15 seconds. Repeat this step for the other nostril.
Break the swab tip into the collection tube.
*Discard the funnel after use.
Open the blue preservation buffer bottle and add the buffer to the sample.
*Discard the preservation buffer bottle after use.
Once the collection tube is sealed, shake the tube 10 times to mix the saliva sample and the preservation buffer.
Place the collection tube back into the kit and remove the protective seal on the yellow sticker underneath the front side of the kit. Make sure the kit is sealed well and mail it out to the designated laboratory for analysis.
CAUTION

Please refrain from brushing teeth, eating food (including water), chewing gum, smoking, and rinsing with mouthwash for 30 minutes before sampling. Before sampling, gently massage both cheeks by rubbing them in circles. Remove lipstick and lip stains (tints).Components
